Karen
Magee’s extensive business expertise includes the manufacturing,
service, retail and distribution industries. In 1998, Karen received
the Small Business of the Year award from the Manatee Chamber of Commerce.
As assistant director of Manatee Community College’s Small Business
Development Center (SBDC), she worked to increase the Center’s
impact on the community. Through her efforts on Sarasota’s
Community Entrepreneurial Opportunity Board, she has worked closely
