Karen Magee Wins Two Contracts
Karen Magee, a Sarasota-based business consultant and trainer that specializes in small-business development, has been awarded two contracts in Sarasota-Manatee area.

The Bradenton Front Porch program awarded a contract to provide three 15-hour training sessions to middle- and high-schoolers on how to write a business plan. Upon completion, each student will receive $500 venture capital from Bradenton Front Porch.

The Community Entrepreneur Opportunity program, provided by the City of Sarasota Enterprise Zone, awarded a contract to provide training for a 12-week, 36-hour spring program, which is free to the adult students who will work on developing a business plan.
